MEET THE TEAM!
While we were kicking bags into the footwells of our car in Morzine, getting ready for the return trip after our last day on the trails, two things dawned on us: One, the only way to fit all four of our full face helmets in was to wear them and, two, we needed a van.
Bike Van Co is born from that (second) idea: to provide the best MTB, bike and adventure sports vans for hire. Our vans will have the awnings and pop-up roof beds that you would associate with campervans; however their primary function is to get you and your kit to the trails and back, safely, securely and shred-ready.
We are a family run, rider led company based near Tetbury in Gloucestershire. We want to help groups of friends and families share trails, the outdoors and going on adventures together. We have put every effort into getting the Bike Van Co up and running and would be delighted if you want to follow our progress and of course – hire a van!
MEET THE Team
Katie
Kate has raced XC, cyclo-cross and road, is a BC and MTB Level 2 Coach and a qualified MTB Guide. It’s safe to say, Kate loves bikes.
Having grown weary of being a Chartered Surveyor she wanted to build a bike company with a difference, providing a service that can encourage people to get out, ride and enjoy new experiences together.
Adam
Adam has crashed on some of the finest trails southern England, Wales and Morzine has to offer. Despite this, and along with his sons inspired by Kate, he loves riding mountain bikes.
The gamechanger was taking the boys, then aged 5 and 7, to join the Little Fodders, the kids coaching programme run by WyeMTB in the Forest of Dean. That meant he had at least two hours on Saturday mornings at Pedalabikeaway to ride his bike…while the boys quickly gained the skills to outrun him.
